Information about the Conference
COMPSAFE 2020 will take place at the Kobe International Conference Center, Kobe, Japan.
Registration Desk is at the entrance hall, located on the 3rd floor of the Kobe convention center.
Registration hours are,
Sunday, March 8th: 16:00~20:00
Monday, March 9th and Tuesday, March 10th: 8:15~17:00
Wednesday, March 11th: 8:15~15:00

Above registration fees include a book of program, CD-ROM of extended abstracts, excursion, coffee breaks, reception and banquet.
|Accompanying person:||15,000 yen (for either Reception/Excursion/Banquet)|
Each room will be equipped with LCD projector with VGA connector, and computers for presentation will not be provided. We recommend to check the compatibility of your laptop and projector provided before your presentation.

|Keynote Presentation:||30 minutes|
|Regular Presentation:||20 minutes|
Wireless internet will be provided in the conference site.
Coffee will be served during the breaks at the lounge and reception hall located on the 3rd floor next to the entrance hall.

The excursion starts at the Kobe convention center, the conference site, in the morning of March 8th. We will first visit the great Hanshin-Awaji earthquake memorial museum at the Disaster Reduction and Human Renovation Institution, located 15min. from the conference site by bus, to learn and experience the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake occurred in January 17th, 1995. Then we also visit the earthquake museum at Hanshin Expressway Technology Center. In the afternoon, we will cross the Akashi-Kaikyo Bridge, the world longest suspension bridge with its length of 3,911m, and visit Awaji Island. In the island, we will have a field-trip at Hokudan Earthquake Memorial Park and visit Nojima Fault Preservation Museum. The tour buses will come back to the conference site by the evening before the welcome reception.

We will have a reception in the evening of March 8th., after the excursion. The reception will be at the reception hall next to the international conference room, the main conference room, at the third floor of the Kobe convention center. Buffet-style light meal and drink will be provided.
Tuesday, March 10, 2020
We will have a banquet in the evening of March 10th., after all sessions are closed. The banquet will be at the party room "Ohwada", located on the 1st floor of the South Building, Portpia Hotel next to the conference site. Sit-down formal dinner will be provided.
